I listened to a lot of CGP Grey last night. A LOT. Most of it was good, but one of the last ones I listened to had him advising that we break up the weekend and move one of the days to Wednesday for a more even distribution of work days. Although I saw his point, which is that five straight days of work doesn’t make sense, neither does his point, given that breaking up the weekend means you get ZERO days with no work in them where you aren’t surrounded by a working day.
At the very least with the way weekends are structured now, you have Friday night into Saturday, then Saturday night into Sunday. That makes sense.
The real answer is that we also take Fridays off. That’s the key, guys.
