Listening to the audiobook for “Flowers in the Attic” seems appropriate in the middle of the night.
At least, it’s a good way to pass the time when I wake up early, which happens every so often. Right now, I’d pretty much just like to spend all my time under our warmest blanket. I’m layered up today, as I was yesterday, and the next couple of days will pull out all the warm stops. I’d love to take today and tomorrow off, for more reasons than that, but I have responsibilities, and gotta get out there and survive as usual.
But that’s what audiobooks and music are good at helping on – they make the dreary palatable.
Woof. I’m not feeling that down. I made an amazing green bean casserole last night for dinner, since I missed it on Thanksgiving. It was damn good, and I made two of them, one for freezing. I skipped adding a potato side, and that was a good move too.
