The snow missed us. I guessed right! Apparently, though, it is hitting the eastern part of Iowa. Sucks to be you, Cedar Rapids!
Also I get to wear jeans today because of sports. My relationship to sports is not complicated, but bemusing around this time. I never got into team sports – with the slight exception of having to scratch an itch of one baseball game or so a year. I don’t hate sports by any means, in fact, I get why they’re popular. They’re just, well, kind of boring to me. Whatever it is that makes people get excited for them just doesn’t touch me.
So, around this time of year, I just enjoy the spectacle of people wearing their jerseys or what not, and eat snacks. That’s pretty great.
