Thank goodness for books. What would I do during the winter if not for them. I listen to audiobooks, I read graphic novels, I read nonfiction, I go to the library. I have a magazine subscription. It’s all enjoyable. When spring arrives, I can bike to the library again.
People used to worry that the Internet would kill printed material. I’m glad that turned out to be an unfounded fear.
