Got back into the routine yesterday, and I think things are off to a good start. Jenn and I watched what we think is the season finale to Star Trek: Prodigy. If you like Star Trek, this is the show to watch – that is, if you have Paramount+. That’s the problem these days, as the streaming dream has turned into the corporate morass.
But no need to get into all that. I’m finalizing a book I mentioned the other day for my half-brother Dan, and I dug into a package of family history materials that my aunt sent me way back in 2001. At that time, I was not able to process what she gave me, and, although I reviewed it in detail since then, this is probably the first time I’ve been comprehensive and really internalized the material. My family history, like I’m sure most peoples’, has much tragedy in it. But there’s also some good stories in there, too. I’m presenting one of them to Dan shortly.
