I have mashed potatoes for lunch, but I don’t know what to eat with them. Glad I have these kinds of problems to worry about and not others. 🙂
This week has started off routine and continues to be into the near future as far as I can tell. Sometimes I get existential angst when I’m hyperfocused on the world. In those moments, I find stepping back and taking in the whole picture to be helpful.
What I really need to do is pick out a new book. I just finished Michael Crichton’s “Airframe” which was …not his best work. The depiction of journalists was ham-handed, and the ending was, as one Internet reviewer described it, “a damp squib”. Oh well. I’ve read some interesting books lately, including “The Plot Against America” by Philip Roth, and “American Heiress”, about the kidnapping of Patty Hearst. So my track record is good. I welcome all suggestions in the comment box below.
