Another night of scanning photos, but I got to the library earlier, so I didn’t feel rushed. If you live in my city, the DVDs are free to check out now, something I hadn’t thought of in a while. Our last good video store was killed by Covid, and streaming is getting fragmented, so DVDs from the library are a pretty great alternative.
I wish sometimes that buildings that contained beloved things be torn down right away after the business is gone – there’s the old video store, and there’s the grocery store where you grew up shopping and eating in the cafe in. Of course, they could be bought and repurposed – somebody take care of that, please.
